Jeddah branch held the World Heart Day event
Student Activities Unit on 09/29/2021, in cooperation with Communication and Media Unit and in partnership with King Abdullah Complex, held the World Heart Day event, which included an awareness campaign encouraging a healthy lifestyle and good eating habits.
As mentioned by Ms. Sarah Al-Otaibi, who is responsible for raising awareness of heart diseases at King Abdullah Medical Complex, that heart diseases are often accumulations for several reasons, such as: age, lifestyle, diet, and smoking, which may eventually lead to the risk of heart disease. Additionally, it is necessary to develop a plan that contributes to the reduction of smoking to reduce the risk of heart disease. Further, awareness of the importance of exercising for no more than 30 minutes a day reduces the risk of heart disease.
