Employees of Medina branch of Saudi Electronic University participate in The Ambassador of Life's First Aid Program

On Monday, 23-01-1443 H. a number of employees and employees of the governing body of the Medina branch of the Saudi Electronic University participated in the Ambassador of Life's First Aid Program, which was organized at the initiative of His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Branch, Dr. Mohammed bin Mohammed al-Serihi, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Authority in the region.

The programme aims to raise awareness and provide the right ways to provide first aid to some of the incidents they may face on and off campus.

The program reviewed incidents such as fainting, low sugar, low blood pressure, cardiac arrest, breakage and bleeding, tongue swallowing and suffocation, correct methods of resuscitation when the heart stops or airway blockages, and introduced some ways to help relieve pain such as compresses and others, how to deal with light injuries and superficial burns, and prevent wound contamination at the time of arrival of the ambulance.

In conclusion, the trainees were granted a Saudi Red Crescent Certificate and a license (first paramedic) after passing the FDA-approved test.
