An Invitation to Participate in Arabic Poetry Competition

The Deanship of Admissions and Students Affairs announces the  Arabic Poetry competition for SEU students in all branches.

Requirements for Participation:

1. Commitment in  Standard Arabic.
2. The poem should be in a national item, made by the student, and never used before in a previous event or  competition.
3. The poem should Confirm Arabic prosodic features.
4. The poem should establish valuable meanings and purposes.
5. The poem Should include figurative language , imagery and rhetorics.
6. The language of the poem must be fluent, correct and free from all types of mistakes.
7. The poem should not precede  ten verses and exceed   twenty-five  verses .
8. Write the poem on a Word file.

There are valuable prizes for the three winners as follows:

• First place: 3000 riyals.
• Second place: 2000 riyals.
• Third place: 1500 riyals.

To participate please send the student's information their poem to this email (s.affairs@seu.edu.sa) as in the table below:

Starting from Sunday,  04\04\1441 AH corresponding to​ 01\12\2019 AD.

Until Thursday, 15\04\1441 AH corresponding to 12\12\2019 AD.
