The College of Computing and Informatics signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Red Hat.
Under the patronage of Her Excellency SEU President, Prof. Lilac AlSafadi, the Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Bishr, signed a memorandum of cooperation today at the University main headquarters in Riyadh, with Professor Ali Al-Shami, the Regional Director of Red Hat Company in the Kingdom, which is one of the leading companies in digital solutions, open-source systems, and cloud computing.
From his part, Dr. Al-Bishr affirmed that this agreement aims to provide pioneering expertise in the fields of digitization, distinguished qualification, and training for faculty members and students in the College of Computing and Informatics. He also assured that the college, with the University President's guidance, always seeks to develop its student and improve their skills and knowledge. In addition, the college aims to benefit from global experience in the field of open systems and contribute to the Saudi digital transformation and advance innovation by providing a modern educational and training environment that contributes to the creativity and distinction of the students in the labor market.
The cooperation was attended by Dr. Thamer bin Omar Al-Hussain, the Vice President of Educational Affairs.
