The Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs organizes a workshop entitled "Trimester System Transition."
The Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs held a two-day workshop entitled "Trimester System Transition", Presented and moderated by Dr.Hazza Bin Nayef al-Sharef, acting Vice-President for Educational affairs.
The workshop opened by reviewing the outcomes of the previous workshop and following up and reviewing the efforts made in the transformation process over the past period, followed by a review of the future steps, which encompasses all aspects of the educational process.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Sharif explained that the expected results of the trimester transformation are bridging the gap between the outcomes of universities and the requirements of the labor market and competition at the global level and increasing the graduate's efficiency.
He emphasized that the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs is working significantly to complete the required tasks for the transformation early next year, stating that the holding of this workshop contributes to clarifying the transformation process for those involved in the educational process, answering questions related thereto, as well as drawing on their views and suggestions to facilitate the transformation procedures beginning next academic year.
The workshop was attended by Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Al-Ouwirdi, and Vice-president for Planning, Development and Quality Dr. Misa al-Qurshi, deans of scientific colleges and deans, heads of departments, and a number of faculty members of the university.
