SEU Council Introduces Three New Masters Programs

The Saudi Electronic University council approved the development of three new Master’s programs (Master’s degree), in cooperation with Colorado State University Global, United States of America. The Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Faris M. Algarni said, that the new programs will contribute in graduating highly qualified national cadres specialized in various fields, able to participate effectively in building society and promoting sustainable development and meeting labor market needs with qualified cadres in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030.

The developed programs are International Business Law Program and Translation Technology Program in the College of Science and Theoretical Studies. The third program is Data Science Program in the College of Computing and informatics.

Dr. Faris Algarni added that the new programs will be among the offered programs later this year. In addition to the graduate studies requirements, applicants are required to obtain a score of 5 in IELTS or its equivalent in other programs. Except Translation Technology Program, which requires a minimum score of 6 in the IELTS, these programs will start by the next academic year 1442H.

The Dean of Graduate Studies extended his thanks to the University's Rector, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Almuaigel, for his continuous support towards the Deanship of Graduate Studies, to succeed all academic programs in general and the Graduate Studies in particular. He also thanked the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Al-Awairdhi for his step by step supervision on all the Deanship work and overcoming any obstacles that may hinder achieving their goal. He also thanked the Deans of Colleges, the supportive Deanships, and the staff for their efforts to make this program succeed in SEU.

In addition to the new programs, the University offers Master’s programs in Cyber Security, Business Administration, and Healthcare Management.
