The University Concludes the Orientation Week for Students in All Branches with More than 26 Programs

The University held an orientation week online via WebEx for freshmen and their predecessors, which is part of the University’s effort to provide a distinctive and unique student experience, clarify the academic systems and services, and to instruct the trimester system. The orientation week was attended by the Deans of colleges and support deanships, as well as platforms, educational tools and student services administrators.

The orientation week included welcoming students, introducing the University’s systems and support instructions. In its sessions, there were explanations of the Common First Year requirements, the trimester study plan, the English language course equivalency according to the major, as well as skills courses.

In addition, the sessions shed light on the academic services provided to students, such as postponement, withdrawal, dropping a semester, and fee waiver. Moreover, the systems of Blackboard and Banner were introduced: how to loge into it and leverage its features; and the e-exam platform: how to get support and help.

Besides, the sessions mentioned the extra-curricular services and activities provided to students, training courses, student clubs, academic, psychological and professional advising, career support, as well as effective communication channels.
