Women's education is one of the basic pillars upon which developed countries are built. With education, women can achieve their ambitions and hone their skills in various aspects of life. It also enables women to advance the future of future generations.
As such, the Saudi Electronic University launched the joint supervision program, which is an academic program that aims to provide the opportunity for university lecturers to obtain a doctorate degree from an international university without going abroad, in case that it is not possible for them to travel, and this is through making an agreement with an international university. The program also helps to exchange experiences between internationally distinguished universities and to benefit from the potential of prominent faculty members as supervisors of lecture thesis at the university; this also leads to building strategic partnerships that serve the fields of graduate studies and scientific research at the university.
Due to the unique character of the joint supervision program where the nature of the study and academic follow-up differs from that of graduate studies and scholarship, the department of the Joint External Supervision Program prepared the strategies and rules regulating the programs.
