First: Planning Department

About:

     The Planning Department mainly aims at improving and developing the university’s performance by preparing and developing the university’s strategic plans, preparing implementation reports, following up on strategic analysis tasks and making use of benchmarking and analyzing university data to serve the various plans. It also provides support and participates in preparing strategic plans for the various units of the university to ensure its integration with the strategic plan of the university as a whole and seeks to achieve integration and harmony between it and the relevant authorities.

Goals:

  1. Identifying the reality of the university's needs to allow the concerned officials to take appropriate decisions, procedures and measures regarding them.
  2. Developing aspects of coordination and positive cooperation with the relevant authorities to achieve the university goals, higher education, and development goals.
  3. Contribution to raising the internal and external effectiveness and efficiency of the university education system at the university, and developing the educational process in its various stages.

Tasks:

  1. Supervising the preparation of the university’s strategic plans and following up on their implementation.
  2. Preparing annual reports to follow up the implementation of the strategic plans.
  3. Implementing the tasks assigned to it for the benefit of the university.
  4. Preparing a periodic report on all the achievements.

Second: Development Department

About:

     The Development Department mainly aims at the administrative development and the development of the university's work environment as it proposes development initiatives in its various aspects and follows up on their implementation.

Goals:

  1. Developing the university's administrative environment.
  2. Proposing development initiatives and following up on their implementation.

Tasks:

  1. Following up on the applicable regulations at the university and making suggestions for their development.
  2. Simplifying work procedures at the university, designing and developing used forms, and preparing and updating procedures manual.
  3. Preparing a periodic report on all the achievements.

Third: Quality and Academic Accreditation Department

About:

     The Quality and Academic Accreditation Department mainly aims at developing the quality system and culture in the various departments and programs of the university as it undertakes the preparation and implementation of the quality assurance system in the various units of the university. Also, it provides the university with the organizational and administrative framework for applying for the academic accreditation; institutional or program. In addition, the Alumni Unit works to maintain a positive relationship with university graduates in various fields to build effective partnerships with the labor market by communicating with graduates for their feedback on the educational outcomes of the university and making use of it to improve the educational process at the university.

Goals:

  1. Building and activating quality systems in institutional performance, enhancing the culture of quality, and trying to raise the performance level with better efficiency and less time.
  2. Achieving the requirements of the university’s institutional, program, national and international academic accreditation.
  3. Continuous improvement at all levels.
  4. Developing effective communication with the university graduates.

Tasks:

  1. Providing support services to university colleges in the fields of academic accreditation.
  2. Completing all requirements for implementing the system and standards of quality and institutional academic accreditation.
  3. Implementing the quality management system in all university units.
  4. Preparing follow-up reports on the progress of academic; program and institutional accreditation.
  5. Implementing systems for automating quality and academic accreditation at the university level.
  6. Measuring and evaluating the quality of performance (including the collection of performance indicators data, the measurement of beneficiaries' opinions, and benchmarking).
  7. Improving communication with the university graduates, keep contact with them and involve them in the university’s orientations.
  8. Contributing to spreading the culture of quality and enhancing the practices of institutional academic accreditation.
  9. Supervising the development and implementation of operational plans to develop, measure and evaluate learning outcomes for courses and programs.
  10. Supervising and following up the achievement and implementation of improvement and development plans for all university units to develop performance and ensure quality.
  11. Preparing a periodic report on all the achievements.

Fourth: Decision-Making Support Department

About:

     The Decision-Making Support Department mainly aims at collecting, analyzing and classifying data on the various units of the university as it takes a central role for information in the university, and provides all internal and external authorities with appropriate statistics and data on the university's educational, research, administrative and financial activities.

Goals:

  1. Continuous development of tools and mechanisms for data collection, analysis and documentation.
  2. Development of the basic infrastructure and equipment for the department.
  3. Development of data bases and repositories.
  4. Cooperation with internal and external authorities to develop the work.

Tasks:

  1. Entering and collecting information, data and statistics related to all aspects of the university’s activities and providing the concerned authorities inside and outside the Kingdom with what they need in accordance with what the instructions specify.
  2. Classifying data and statistics of the university and establishing the bases for their storage and retrieval.
  3. Making benchmarking studies.
  4. Preparing a periodic report on all the achievements.
