Courses Description
English Language Skills
This course aims to strengthen and develop students' abilities in the five basic skills in English language: listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar. It includes a various range of activities to deal with these skills by covering the following basics: basic sentences patterns, grammar rules, tenses, helping sentences, answers to questions, symbols used in English, and conditional sentences. In addition, this course will focus on constructing and using of a non-complex sentence, and comparing between adjectives and adverbs.
Computer Essentials
This course aims to provide an overview of computing basics that focus on five essential areas of information technology: applications, systems, development, data and communications. It helps to develop students' understanding to absorb the core concepts of information technology and enable them to effectively utilize planning and analysis through information technology by practical application using the techniques and tools that are available for students. The course also explains the basic concepts of computer systems and information technology and displays the best way to use computers and explore software applications by offering information about the physical computer components and its functions as well as detailed information that covers applied software.
Academic Skills
This course aims to help students to manage themselves, their abilities and their potential that lead to success, creativity and critical thinking. It enhances the acquisition and utilization of strategies, research tools and learning methods positively which benefit them to acquire, organize and recall knowledge as well as conducting scientific research. In addition, it strengthens self-learning tools, strategies, patterns and methods in effective E-learning environments.
Communication Skills
This course aims to assist students to develop trends, capabilities and effective ways to communicate with themselves and others. It enhances self-confidence and harmonious relationships in respectful, safety and effective environment by strengthening communicative, cognitive, social, receptive and productive skills.
Fundamentals of Mathematics
This course aims offers a comprehensive review of math basics as it highlights the development of mathematical, algebraic and numerical skills in higher thinking of problem solving. It also enhances mathematical and logical interference in dialogue and discussion skills. This course covers the following topics: linear equations, multiple pairings border and charts, exponential and logarithmic associations, equations and inequalities, linear programming and series, groups, counting systems, permutations, combinations and possibilities.
