The University Council holds the first meeting for the academic year 1441 AH

On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, President of the University Council, His Excellency the Director of the Saudi Electronic University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Muaqil, headed the first university council for the academic year 1441 AH, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Interim Committee in charge of the former Higher Education Council’s works, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, the university’s agents, the deans of colleges and supporting deanships, on 25/12/1440 AH at the university’s headquarters in Riyadh. His Excellency Professor Dr. Al-Moaqil welcomed members of the Council, extending his thanks and appreciation to all for their outstanding efforts that contribute to the advancement of the university in the academic and administrative sides, and their strenuous efforts in supporting students and teachers to provide an integrated, stimulating and distinguished educational environment that helps creativity and development. Adding that the university seeks to contribute to the achievement of the national transformation program 2020, and the achievement of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, and serve its orientations in building a distinguished academic and civilized generation. He stressed the university’s keenness to achieve academic accreditation and access to quality in teaching according to the latest international tools and practices to provide an integrated academic environment, which serves the interest of the student in the first place, and contributes to raising education and outputs to keep pace with the state’s future aspirations and aspirations. His Excellency presented his thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Education for his keenness and his follow-up to work at the university in all its branches, his interest in education in both public and higher sectors, and caring for the sons and daughters of the country, and harnessing all capabilities, to advance them in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and comprehensive development in the country, and achieve the aspirations of the rulers in building the Saudi human Outstanding. After that, the council discussed what was accomplished in the last academic year 1439/1439 AH, in addition to the programs and plans that the university approved for the new academic year 1441 AH
