Dr. Alawairdhi: The New System Will Raise the Level of Academic Performance and Enhance Research and Innovation

The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammad Alawairdhi gave his sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman for the decree of the Ministers Council to approve the new university system that meets the national ambition to pioneer a new higher education system at the scientific, practical and research levels. He also congratulated the Minister of Education on the approval of the new system, due to his continuous efforts in supporting universities progress. He pointed out that the system will contribute to raise the level of scientific and academic performance, enhance research and innovation, and serve the community. It will also enable universities to elect specializations and programs and improve their outputs in accordance with the needs of the labor market, resulting in more job opportunities for citizens. He added that this will achieve a strategic transformation in the universities' future and education progress. The new system facilitates the development of the educational and research process, promoting the highest level of excellence in performance to achieve the Kingdom's 2030 Vision. Lastly, he congratulated the nation for this historic transformation with the issuance of the new universities' system, which enhances governance, quality, and competitiveness in Saudi universities.​
