Data Collection

Data collection is a service offered by the university that facilitates the gathering of information or data from the university's community (faculty, students, staff, etc.) through surveys, questionnaires, interviews or other data collection methods. This service enables researchers to obtain the necessary data for their studies in an approved and regulated manner.

To submit an application for Data Collection:

1. Applicants are required to thoroughly review and adhere to all instructions, guidelines, and regulations related to research ethics available on the Saudi Electronic University website.

2. The following forms must be completed in their entirety, dated, and signed by the principal investigator:

o Data Collection \ Request Application.

o Facilitation letter provided by the applicant's university

o Ethics Approval Letter.

o Research Instrument or Questionnaire. (attach as Word file and the survey link)

o A detailed research proposal form (proposal and protocol), duly signed and dated by the principal investigator.

3. The complete application, accompanied by all requisite attachments, must be submitted to the Standing Committee for Scientific Research Ethics and Data Collection via the following email address: dc.dsr@seu.edu.sa

Be sure to carefully follow all instructions when submitting your ethics approval application. Applications missing any required documents or information will not be processed until complete.
