The MBA program helps to reinforce learners’ skills in business and administration and to develop the administrative skills relevant to the changing dynamic work environment. The program is designed to meet the needs of a professional career in business administration. The program asserts the involvement of learners’ in a new mode of learning and achievement based on a blended model (traditional and distance learning) covering a wide range of employment domains such as strategic administration and world economy, work ethics, electronic world commerce, and more.
The program aims at providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to: Demonstrate the ability to differentiate between the various IT security models, their structure, and the risks associated with the transfer of information processed and stored in the institutions. Understand the various weaknesses of the networks and the methods used to penetrate the security of computer networks and providing comprehensive solutions to reduce these penetrations. Demonstrate knowledge and interpretation of ethical and legal issues surrounding information security, which include information privacy and legitimacy. Evaluate and analyze the local and international breakthroughs that may get the systems used by all institutions. Develop solutions to protect the Internet and information networks from threats and intrusions on the inner and outer bands.
The College of Computing and Informatics offers a Master of Science in Data Science program that aims to qualify students with high academic skills in aspects related to data science and usage of data analysis software, providing students with the latest tools and methods in big data technologies for the next generation. The program focuses on combining the cognitive and applied aspects in the field of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence; and practically applies these technologies in problem-solving.
The master in healthcare administration degree program prepares students for a wide variety of executive positions in health organizations. The design of the curriculum reflects the program’s conviction that today’s health care administrator needs both a comprehensive understanding of the issues involved in patient-centered service organizations and strong business skills. Students become familiar with the social, political, economic, and financial environments of health care organizations. The concepts, tools, and techniques of effective managerial decision making, planning, and control also are introduced. The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is a master's-level professional degree granted to students who complete a course of study in the knowledge and competencies needed for careers in healthcare administration, involving the management of hospitals and other health services organizations, as well as public health infrastructure and consulting. This master's degree program is designed to give graduates of health disciplines (in particular) a greater understanding of management issues and prepare them for senior management roles in various healthcare organizations.
The Law program was established by the College of Science and Theoretical Studies to provide a unique study plan that follows the legislative developments and creates interactions between the legitimate rules and regulation rules. Also, to ensure the development of students’ skills by educational and technological means, to build specialized and qualified graduates to participate in various development sectors
The program of Translation Technologies is designed to prepare students of English language and Translation to become able to handle translation tasks benefiting from available digital technologies and applications. Having this unique training, the program fills a gap in the area, as there is no such a program in the gulf or the Arab world.
