Ethical Considerations for Scientific Research Proposals

To submit an application for ethical approval of scientific research:

1. Applicants are required to thoroughly review and adhere to all instructions, guidelines, and regulations related to research ethics available on the Saudi Electronic University website.

2. The following forms must be completed in their entirety, dated, and signed by the principal investigator:

o Research Ethical Approval Application.

o Consent Form.

o Research Instrument or Questionnaire.

o A detailed research proposal form (proposal and protocol), duly signed and dated by the principal investigator.

o Curriculum vitae of the principal investigator and co-investigators, duly signed and dated.

3. The complete application, accompanied by all requisite attachments, must be submitted to the Standing Committee for Scientific Research Ethics and Data Collection via the following email address: IRB@seu.edu.sa.

Be sure to carefully follow all instructions when submitting your ethics approval application. Applications missing any required documents or information will not be processed until complete.
